Guitars and Music

Hi everyone,

Miranda told me to  write a blog…. dont know what i should write about, but she told me to write one so i am lol.

Umm…. Well all of this week i have not been feeling so good, i’ve had a headache since sunday, i’ve just been feeling sick since monday and also my knee is starting to act up again (sometimes when i walk then it will start hurting and that happens kinda often so.. yeah it really annoys me). All my friends say that i should take the day off and that i should have gone to the nurses today, but i didn’t want to take yesterday off because i thought that i would be alright, i didn’t want to take today off (didn’t know why, i just didn’t) and i dont want to take tomorrow off because i have a drum lesson. But my mum may make me see the doctors tomorrow after the drum lesson so.. i dont know i may have half the day off tomorrow)

About the band: alright well we have decided to have a band practice over the holidays (dont know when yet, but that’s what we’ve decided lol) and also we’re choosing a song to record a cover of so please if you have any suggestions, please tell us (hopefully could you suggest metal songs please?)

Did anyone watch house (apart from you Miranda lol)??? it was pretty cool.

oooorrrrr Supernatural (apart from my friends that go to my school)??? hehe i really liked that episode.

anyways this weekend i have to go to work (on friday,  joy, the busiest day of the week), my aunt is comeing over on saturday to show Rachelle and I the dresses we could borrow off her for my grandma’s 60th birthday party (at the Titanic Restaurant {has anyone been there before? if so what is it like? what happens?})  yeah so that shall be interesting and umm…. sunday…. im working (again) and yeah thats about as exiting as my weekend gets.

There isn’t really much to say, so i shall leave it at that

Well right now i am in English (Nardia, Sam and I went to a computer room to do this {oh and we swear that we did not know that this was our friends class when we entered}). Today i guess was alright, i had to go to one of the music studios to practise for Sunday which is the Arts show at lunch (except we are playing a song instead of showing artwork). I had TBO (food technology) first class, it went really slow because everyone had gone off to finish their assignment (but i had finished mine and handed it in) so my teacher made me help her. Then double maths, both math classes I sat there drawing, and that is basically my day so far.

I was told yesterday by my mother that we were going to go to knox (locall shoping center) tonight to get our passport photo’s done (the first time we went to get them done they didn’t work properly).

The weekend: this weekend is going to be…… slow, i may have to work on Sunday (after the arts show), im going to be going to knox tonight, im going to spend the whole day tomorrow playing instruments, listening to music and also drawing (most likely)

Update about the band: Ryan has imformed both Miranda and I (well atleast i hope he imformed Miranda, if not, Miranda… this is what Ryan has told me), we now have a vocallist (Hamish) and a piano player (Lachlin), he has also said that he has found a drummer that has told him that he is very good (i dont know his name, but Ryan is going to see him sometime this weekend to see how good he is). So this means that if he is a very good drummer i can be the third guitarist.

Haha, i just remembered that my friend (Ashleigh) yesterday wanted me to go to orchestra and i didn’t really want to go, so she held onto me after i started to run/creap away, when i did run away she then ran after me and ran into the closed door (that was hularious)

Umm….. i don’t really think i know what else to say

Hehe, i like that word. Sorry.
Umm… Well i think i will start off with saying, i really dislike my hair cut (all right i dont hate all of my hair cut, i just really hate the fringe) i told the hairdressers to cut my fringe up to a certain length and she cuts it about up to my eyes and its not even strait! It would have been all fine if they had left my fringe, anyways that is really getting to me right now. I got it cut on Friday by the way.

Apart from that happening on the weekend i also attended Music In The Rounds at our school. That was pretty fun. We recorded most of our friends that came (apart from Brigit and Meg’s performance) becuase we missed theirs. But yeah it was pretty fun.

After attending Music In The Rounds our family tried to finish planning our holiday for next year. So far we have figured out we have a stop over in Singapore for a few hours then we are going to London for atleast a week (we haven’t really planned how many actual day’s we are staying there yet but we are working on it) then we will fly over to paris were we were origanally spending a few days there.

We are now spending atleast a week because of going to Euro Disney for a day and also …. I can’t remember the name of the museum right now, but we would sepnd a day at that so that means that we would only have about one day left there, so we are spending a week there to actually see Paris, go shopping, visit the Eiffile Tower, etc.

We then will fly over to Greece for at least a week as well. (i can’t remember what we will be doing there, but hopefully we can visit atleast one beach?)

Then if there is enough time we may go to Italy for a while.
So that is what we have planned for the holiday.

I dont think i did anything else apart from that.

News on the band: I think Ryan may have met up with the drummer that is “awesome” but im not sure just yet. Umm.. yeah i will update this part when i have more info on the band.

Hello everyone.

Well today was Melbourne Cup Day (just a day that is dedicated to horse racing incase you didn’t know)

The horses that i asked my grandma to bid on (because she always rings us up to ask which horse we want to put money on) came first,  second and last, and the horses i chose in the lucky dip at home (i cant remember all of them) but i can remember i came first and third), Rachelle (my sister) came fourth, my dad came second and my mum came last. so… i won one and a third block of chocolate, my dad one half, my sister one a quarter and my mum one a full block.

Apart from watching the races, i helped out with our front yard (which is slowly turning from a weed patch with nothing else in it but a car and a trailer into a proper garden). I got to use the dingo that we hired (not a real one, the machine one).

I also got Avenged Sevenfolds new album (which WAS meant to come out on my birthday but was pushed back to the 30th of October)

My sister went to Justin Timberlake’s concert today (ewww)  {no offence to anyone but i really dislike him} and me and my parents went out to dinner whilst she saw him.

My friend (Ryan who plays guitar) and I decided to start a band last week, and Miranda (my other friend who plays the guitar as well { and who also has a blog space}) has joined us.

We are currently looking for a bassist, screamer/growler (unless Ryan and Miranda do the screaming/growling but i dont know, we will have to sort that out soon) and a drummer { if we can’t find a drummer than i shall be the drummer but if we can, then i shall be one of the guitarists as well}.

Miranda showed me two songs she made up last night (and they are really really good) and i showed her one of the songs that i made up last night (that is still not finished) and she said that she liked it (i hate it).

Umm.. im kind of stuck on what to write for, for a song and also what to draw so if anyone has any ideas can you please tell me. Oh and also if you know anyone who would like to join a metal band and plays either the bass, drums or who can scream/growl can you please send me a message.

Well.. i had a really really bad day today. Had a really bad day at school then got a call from my boss to say i had work, and i really didn’t feel like going.

But i guess it was pretty good, Matt (the guy i work with)  thought that i was having a really bad day so he was trying to make me laugh and was being nice to me (not that he isn’t always, but you know).

Towards the end of our shifts our boss said that we had to do the dishes and also wash the windows, and well… seeing as im too short to reach the top of the windows (and last time i tried Matt laughed at me because of that and he is really tall so he would be able to wash them properly) so to begin with he had to do the dishes and i had to do the windows. Then at the same time we both had the same idea of swapping jobs so that he would do the windows and i would do the dishes.

So.. yeah that was pretty funny.

Then at the end of our shifts i got told that instead of working Sundays (which is my normal time) i would be working Mondays and Thursdays, and im kinda annoyed that i have to work Mondays because i have guitar lessons on Mondays and now im going to have to change them to another day so yeah that was kinda annoying.

Ummm… I know one way of getting rid of anger and being upset (playing drums lol)  which i think i may do now.

Hi,

Well i dont really know what to say for this one. Umm… i have just finished watching Supernatural. It was soooooo funny! If anyone else is as big as Supernatural fan as i am, tell me.

I don’t think i have mentioned this in one of my other blogs, so i shall just mention it in this one. Next year for our family vacation, we are going to Greece for one and a half weeks (hopefully for Greek easter {because me and my sis are half Greek and my dad is  3/4 Greek}), London for two weeks (were we will be seeing our second cousins and their kids), France for a couple of days and Singapore for a couple of days.  So that shall be exciting, ill be missing playing all my instruments loads though so that wont be good but oh well.

Um….  oh, it was my birthday two weeks ago, i got a new bass, electronic drum kit, small guitar clock, neon guitar clock from my parents and from my sister i got $30 to buy a band tee. I have been playing all instruments non-stop. Also i still have to name my bass out of Constantine and Thor (my bass is a Cort Evl Z4b just to let you know) so if you know which one i should name it can you please tell me, very much appreciate.

I now have no idea what to say, so i shall leave it here.

Hi, umm… well i dont really know what to say, i decided to write this blog because i was bored and didn’t know what else i should do.

Anyways, today was an alright day i guess. We had a half school day, i had to go to work, i got to play my instruments, i got to see friends, what else do i really need to say about that?

One of the really good things was that i saw my friend that i have not seen since the two weeks ago because her mum sent her somewhere, but i promised her i would not tell anyone where she was. So yeah i was really glad about that

Umm….. another thing is that i have to do a bibliography about someone i know for english, and i chose do to my grandmother. Here is just a little bit about her; we both share the same birthday, she travels a lot, she has two daughters, one son, one son in law and two granddaughters.

I really dont know what else i should write right now, so i shall stop here.

Well… To start of with, my name is Briony, I live in Victoria, Australia.

Both my grandma and I share the same birthdate (which happens to be tomorrow {16th October}). 

I have a sister (who is 16), parents and also a cat (who is 10) we used to also have a dog who was about 26 years old untill we put her down 6 days before her birthday this year.

The things i like to do are play instruments, listen to music, drawing and hanging out with my friends.

The instruments i play are the guitar, drum’s, bass guitar and piano.

I like listening to rock, hardcore, screamo and metal bands. Bands i enjoy listening to are: Green Day, I Killed The Prom Queen (R.I.P), Parkway Drive, Carpathian, I Am Ghost, Escape The Fate, Funeral For A Friend, Knights of The Abyss, Killwhitneydead, Job For A Cowboy, The Red Shore, Bring Me The Horizon, Ateryu, Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium, Bleeding Through, 36 Crazy Fists, Paramore, 30 Seconds To Mars and a whole lot more.

I attened an all girls school.
